Privacy policy

Version 1 · Last updated: 20 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data we process when you visit zlada.com or write to us, why we do it, and what your rights are. In short: no cookies, no tracking, no advertising. We collect only what you send us and the standard access logs, and we use them only to run the website and to reply to you.

Who we are

The controller of your personal data is ZLADA d.o.o., Prečna pot 7, 2250 Ptuj, Slovenia. Registration no. 5583551000, VAT ID SI51126176. For anything related to your data, write to hello@zlada.com.

Visiting the website

When you open a page, our hosting and content delivery network (Amazon Web Services, CloudFront) records a standard access log entry: your IP address, the date and time, the page or file requested, your browser's user agent and the referring page.

  • Why: to deliver the website, keep it secure, detect abuse, and see in aggregate how it's used.
  • Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • How long: access logs are deleted automatically after 90 days.

Cookies and tracking

We don't use cookies or similar technologies, and we don't store or read anything on your device. There are no analytics or advertising trackers and no social media plugins, and fonts are served from our own site. That's why you don't see a cookie banner. If we ever add a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool, we'll describe it here first.

Contact form and email

When you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, company (if you give it), the topic you choose and your message. The form doesn't store your message on the website. It's forwarded straight to our mailbox by email.

  • Why: to reply to you and to discuss a possible collaboration.
  • Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), or otherwise our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • How long: up to two years after our last exchange, unless the enquiry leads to a business relationship. In that case, we keep the correspondence as long as the relationship lasts and as long as the law requires afterwards.

Giving us your details is voluntary, but without an email address we can't reply.

Who processes your data for us

We use two service providers, both bound by data processing agreements:

  • Amazon Web Services: website hosting, content delivery and delivery of contact-form messages.
  • Google (Google Workspace): our email and calendar.

We store data in the European Union where we can. Both providers belong to US-based groups, and their content delivery and support may involve processing outside the EU. Such transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We don't sell your data or share it with anyone else, unless the law requires it.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you
  • have it corrected or deleted
  • restrict its processing
  • receive it in a portable format
  • object to processing based on our legitimate interest

To use any of these rights, write to hello@zlada.com. We'll reply within one month.

You can also lodge a complaint with the Slovenian supervisory authority: Informacijski pooblaščenec (Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia), Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana, www.ip-rs.si.

We don't make automated decisions or create profiles based on your data.

Changes

If our processing changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
